Interesting the number of people who seem to think he must be mad to wear the shirt in Middlesbrough. It's not London. It is quite a bit safer than that. You don't run the risk up there of someone spotting you in the street or in your car and dragging you out to give you a good kicking. That happened to a member of my extended family when he was spotted in South West London still wearing his Chelsea shirt he was on his way home. He was spotted and set upon by a couple of Millwall thugs. After the beating he took he was dragged into the road into the path of oncoming cars. Try walking round Newcastle or catching the park and ride in Sunderland. There is no animosity at all. Fans of all three clubs are friendly. Boro fans probably think he's a bit eccentric or mad and that's all. I feel the same way when we have seasons like the last one.
I'd like to see Petrasso given a chance on the left. From what I've seen of him, he's quick, good with both feet, great dribbler and got a good finish too.
Unfortunately this does not apply to Sunderland. I was with my wife a few years ago and a few fans thought it would be amusing to try toppling our micra on its side after the game. I also witnessed a number of younger R's fans with blood covered tops and this was around the stadium of light, and they were not in groups looking for a fight
WTF? I had to do a double take there. I thought a poster was talking to himself Didn't know we had two Yorkies!
