Is there anything to suggest that the rumour came from the Allams, or even the club rather than usual twaterati gossip and invention?
It originated in The Sun, they probably just made it up, though it seems someone at the club tried to give it some credence.
Anything to show the club have said anything at all, rather than that just being a part of the rest of the invented bullshit? Why on earth people have to invent things, or latch on to fictions when there are genuine gripes to focus on could be revealing.
The suggestion that someone at the club confirmed the story came from Radio Humberside, though it was one of those 'sources close to the club' type announcements.
