    Hmmm almost guaranteed under achievers or exciting young team under a former world class player who was one if the best centre backs in the world, where you already have a house and friends and know the club and team mates. I know which i would choose.

    As for Billy the Yid are you really so sure that southampton will never be bigger than spurs? Man City weren't too big a while back and they overtook you so why can't we?

    Maybe not, but still a far far bigger deal than little Southampton.

    A couple of seasons over achievement will not change your small to medium sized club status.

    That article is dated March just to point out (not trying to ruin the good feel anyone has got from this) so people are right in saying that he could change his mind since the Spurs interested but I'm honestly still confident that he will do the right thing. (I'll let you lot work out what the right thing would be<laugh>)
