Btw, can any of you scientist chappies explain how hollowed-out bullets work? I thought the physics behind it was that, in the case of an airliner flying into a building, that its weight and velocity caused kinetic energy that had to go somewhere, and that the forward momentum and following energy ruled out going backwards, so it therefore went forwards. If this is not the case, can I suggest that a good party trick would be to hollow out the nose of a bullet and cover it with an air-filled cellephane bubble, then shoot it at your teeth - the hardest part of the human body. By the precedent set of the collapsable nosed airliner, the bullet will disintergrate and your teeth remain unscathed.

PS I am no ballistic expert but I think the hollow points stuff either bullets of larger projectiles is about them expanding on impact eg instead of a bullet hitting you in the shoulder and passing right through, it expands as it impacts and takes your shoulder off. Nice!

Yes yes yes we are all "internet warriors" from a team specially set up to stop you from alerting posters on not606 about the truth, this is funded by the IPCC, oil industry etc.

In reality though, I do not think I am smart or special, I know some stuff, I have a rough idea of scientific method, i am also aware of some stuff I don't know much about especially on this thread, however I clearly understand that there is a whole world of stuff that I am not even aware of and need to learn about .

Now sunspot activity and using it as a predictor is one of those things that I am aware of but don't know much about so to get back on track, can you please provide some evidence about piers corbyn winning bets about the weather or using sunspot activity in predicting earthquakes.
