I cannot help but wonder if Utd are waiting to see if Schweinsteiger signs for them for less than half the price being quoted for Morgan and if that stops them looking at Morgan. If Arsenal do sign Vidal; where does that leave Morgan also?
Don't worry that's just his watch collectionYou must log in or register to see imagesIt's a sign. Just after 6am this morning, the first lorry I see: Morgan on the move![]()
Liverpool obviously feel the same about Sterling as we feel about Morgan, don't really want him to go, so we'll price him high and see what bites we get.But nobody other than Liverpool seem to think he is (so far)![]()
The trouble with that is we don't want to get to the end of August with an unsettled player only for someone like Manure to buy him for the inflated asking price on deadline day when we haven't got time to get the replacement we need. I can see LVG and Wenger playing the waiting game to try and get the price down whilst unsettling the playerLiverpool obviously feel the same about Sterling as we feel about Morgan, don't really want him to go, so we'll price him high and see what bites we get.
If we intend to sell him, we won't play him in the Europa, although anyone who can afford him is probably in the Champions' League. I am assuming that wouldn't be a bar. It's an unusual season in having competitive matches arriving so early.
Just had a thought...playing him in the Europa could be a problem for a CL club who drops down to the Europa.
Though ****e to LGV
Doesn't Morgan count as home grown under the rules? If he were an English player his fee would increase massively. Trouble is there are other foreigners about with equal ability, although not necessarily an international, for a lot less. (Am I allowed to say Foreigner these days or is that politically incorrect?)

I thought so, so in theory his fee should be as high as an English CM of equal talent. Trouble is, I can't think of one!Never thought of that to be honest......yes I think he does as he has been here for over 5 years and was part of our under 21 set up.
