Not quite sure about that yet, but excellent news. Mightily impressive on the times I saw him and I think a credit to the spirit of the club to be a able to make him feel a suitably significant part of it.
Once again Mr Scally has put his chips down on the table and well done to him. The club have done ever so well to get in players of this calibre in and all on free transfers to boot. This starting back four is looking good.
Splendid news. Would appear that the back four should be as good, (if not better) than anything else in L1. I do hope that there will be no need for Egan to play at RB - as I felt the middle of the defence was not as solid without him in that area. I hope that the midfield can supply the passes to exploit all the potential that would seem to exist in our new strikers. I love the pre season optimism of fans. I have watched too much rubbish to (usually) being 'excited.' --- but even I am liking what is being assembled at the club - and might stick my neck out to say that we could threaten the top 6 places - providing that we are not ultra cautious in our tactics -- for one thing, with so much apparent pace in our new (and existing) players, I will be seriously disenchanted if we defend corners with all 11 in our 6 yard area.
