Another blast from my past. Remember the "Contemporary Guitar Sampler Album"? 4 misicians on there I followed, Renbourn, Jansch, Mctell and Giltrap (I play a Giltrap signature as my Accoustic guitar of choice), sadly 2 of them no longer around
Saw James Taylor last year in Manchester - one of my favourite folk rock acts. Fantastic with the acoustic guitar Saw the Eagles around 4 years ago too and they were immense as well!! And, of course, Seasick Steve - although not acoustic he's ****ing immense!!
Well, if we're on about learning stuff, this is what I'm currently struggling to play (I'm rubbish though):
This chap`s a bit decent. He uses DADGAD tuning and judicious use of the tuning pegs. Too clever by half I reckon.

I`ve no idea what that is. Hand built job I think. Bending 2 strings at a time with his pinky is a bit much like.
Enjoy, Steve Howe is worth the ticket money alone....see it he gets annoyed when fans start clapping out of time....or if they sing the wrong words....and Jon Davidson is good...not Anderson but good, treats the songs with respect. Not sure who is replacing Chris Squire....hell of a job.
Agree .. Seen yes about 3 times now since 73 so good to be able to spin time back. Steve Howe is probably one of the most underrated guitarists ever along with Martin Barre..
Tommy Emmanuel is great, quite the showman check out Mombasa but my all time favourite is Michael Hedges
