Why are you always so negative?
My real question is who will be the ball winning midfielder?

If we don't bring anyone in, the task of ball winning in midfield will probably fall to the kids. Luke murphy will also have to step up

I saw it on News Now it seemed genuine enough and since I have seen a video of the lad he is very modest got his head screwed on pacey can catch pidgeonsplays on left wing and has played for England under 19 .Has been under the tutelage of his dad .Hence the reason I say he has his head screwed on apparently a done deal 12 months loan and a buy on clause as he will be out of contract next year

Next position we need to tighten up on (for me) is wingers. The last time we saw a natural wide man at Elland Road was Snodgrass and that was YEARS ago! You can see from the better teams last season they all play with natural, pacey widemen and it works. I can't wait for the start of the season when we'll be able to watch a winger beat a man to by line and stick a ball across the face of goal...

Good call on wingers. Any sign of any wingers on their way?

Couple of rumours I've heard Boggers...

Adam Drury - Ex Man City youth player is on trial with us currently. Plays right wing.
Brandon Barker - Left winger from Man City also. Apparently a season long loan.
Murphy - From sheff united, apparently a swap with Billy Sharp.

Not sure how true any of these are barring Drury because he was pictures training today.

    The journalist
http://www.mcfc.co.uk/teams/eds/midfielders/brandon-barker - There were a couple of reports that he only had a year to run on his contract, I can't see it myself, either way and as Josh pointed out in a different thread this lad would cost a fortune due to his age. He has stated his desire to go out on a season long loan and prove himself to City, seems he is on his way.

Barker is very skillful and very fast. I've got a few mates who are Man City fans who think of him as a future "Robben" type. Although he can drift in/out of games even at Man City U18 and he can be a bit lazy.

Although saying that, what pacy wingers don't drift in/out of games. It's pretty much inevitable bar Ronaldo/Bale and the like.

Really hope we sign him. Drury is apparently similar but with less class and a lot more raw. Think Gboly Ariyibi (?) esque - could be brilliant, could be ****.

As much as I generally ignore everything 60 says as I can't be ****ing arsed reading his broken English. His judgment of players has always been good in my opinion.
