No, but Wood still looks a goer. Crisp munchers were on the wind up earlier

    Hey'up LOL,

No, not a wind up, I personally felt that Adryan had a lot of potential and could've been a big asset to Leeds, trouble is, he had the wrong type of coach; I won't carry on about the coach thing...:emoticon-0105-wink:

I felt 3m for Adryan would've benefitted us more than Woods in long run, and would've certainly fitted in with Roslers preferred formation, which is not what we had last season.

I would've liked to have kept Del Fabro too, as back up to Bamba to begin with. Bamba has a habit of going off the boil, and we'll need someone to replace or stand in for Bamba who's capable of doing a good job at that position.....:emoticon-0148-yes:

I would also like another centre back but not Del Fabro. Would prefer Liam Moore even if it is just a season long loan. I'm sure there are other options out there too.

I know many say Del Fabro only played one game, against Sunderland, but he had a brilliant game and showed what he is capable of. There was a lot of potential there imo, and he was still young; again, he had the wrong type of coach.

If Liam Moore, or any other defender came in and outshined Bamba then Bamba will find himself on bench, he's a hot and cold player, and other players will be chomping at bit to take their opportunity if Bamba slips up. I think with Rosler it's going to be same for any player in team, at moment I can't see him picking players in positions cos they're his favourites if he's serious about getting back into Prem.

And so it should be, I'm a huge fan of competition for places. I feel like we lack that in the CB positions at the moment a little bit. Bamba is good enough, Bellusci is definitely hot headed and can have some bad games speaking of hot and cold. But other than that we don't have any CBs good enough to be starting games for us imo, Cooper is poor at best.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Wootton sold and therefore would like a centre back to sign to push for the first team. Personally I also think a player like Bamba would benefit in fighting to keep his place.

I would have taken Adryan for 1 million but not a penny more. He has a little bit of potential that's it.

Del Fabro is a poor player so wouldn't have touched him.

LL. It's a game of opinions as they say. Reality is we didn't see enough of Adryan to warrant spending 3 million, even Cellino / Salerno conceded that it didn't work as they hoped. With a limited budget we cannot afford to take the gamble of spending so much on someone who might come good.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have pulled out of the race to sign Leicester City striker Chris Wood, leaving the door open for Leeds United to snare the forward.

It had been understood that it was a tug of war between Wolves and Leeds United as to who got the former West Bromwich Albion man. However, the Express and Star have now this evening revealed that Wolverhampton Wanderers have pulled the plug on the deal to sign the Leicester City man.

The stumbling block is thought to be the fee demanded by the Foxes, believed to be around £3 million. Wolves were unwilling to fork out such an amount for the New Zeland international.

Wood is now expected to complete his move to Leeds United over the coming days.
