Fourth official has been very reliable in the past but also very unreliable aswell @FourthOfficial_: Esteban Cambiasso has agreed a new 1 year deal with Leicester City #lcfc
Would be the best signing of the lot if true! Really liking the look of all our signings so far, and we're being linked with quality as well, not like last year when it was a lot of players from the Championship. These are all players with PL or other top league (Germany, Italy, France) experience.
I'd love this to be true but others suggesting it isn't, yet. Leicester City FC @FIRST4LCFC 40 minutes ago So apparently the Cambiasso rumours were false... #LCFC Leicester City FC @FIRST4LCFC 36 minutes ago Further unconfirmed sources suggest Cambi's brother and agent have heard nothing of him signing on with the Foxes for a further season #LCFC
I suspect this thread won't be needed for a few weeks, I did wonder at the time but how much influence did Nigel Pearson have on the signing of Shinji Okazaki? We know the owners wanted an asian player
Always easy to see this in hindsight but I did wonder why Pearson hadn't commented on any of our new signings, especially Okazaki, which was left to Walsh. Pretty sure this decision will have cost us the Cambiasso signing, and will certainly slow down the rest of our transfer action, so it's a good thing we've already done a bit of business, I guess. Wouldn't be surprised to see a few leave now, however.
All depends on who is appointed regards Cambiasso, if we go for the big name then it could help our chances of getting Cambiasso back
... agreed... Laudrup commands respect from fellow players for one Hiddink too for his managerial record...
According to Rob Tanner Jon Rudkin and Andrew Neville are still trying to get Esteban Cambiasso to sign a new deal and these 2 will be identifying who our new manager will be

According to reports in France, the N'Golo Kante transfer to Leicester City looks all but dead following the sacking of Nigel Pearson #LCFC
... OK ... but I'd given this one up before the sacking in light of reports that he himself had stated that his preference was Marseille?
