    To be honest, we're far ahead compared to where we have been in other years. And deals have been done with astonishing secrecy, which is also novel and nice.

    With Charlie likely going elsewhere, could always beg SWP to come home and take the 9 shirt, providing of course, the referees use their white spray to paint arrows toward the goal mouth. :grin:

    OVER THE HILL? NO WAY!

    QPR are to announce in the next 48 hours that Clint Hill has signed a new one-year deal at Loftus Road.

    The defender was offered the contract earlier this month but the signing was put on hold until the players returned for pre-season training today.

    He'll be 37 in October and this will be his sixth season as a QPR player.

    We also understand that reports in Germany linking the club with a move for FSV Mainz striker Sebastian Polter are inaccurate as things stand but they are in the market for a striker.
