    Thoughts? Should be interested to see the most christian country in the worlds reaction to going gay loloolololoool.

    It's like a visa but you pay a fixed $14 fee and it allows entry for 2 years into the US.

    This will be celebrated and fair enough, but in reality they've only just granted a right to do something that should never have been outlawed in the first place. Does anyone on this board actually oppose this move? If so, I'd love to hear their reasons.

    I am married myself (to a woman, and I'm a man) but I was brought up to think that everyone is equal no matter of their race, gender, sexual persuasion etc. Imagine being ridiculed for something you can't help? *Queue the 'it's a choice' statements from the people stuck in the 50s!

    Makes me laugh (but angry at the same time)

    What is the bigger injustice... Gay dudes/dudettes can't "marry" even though they have alternatives, or couples that don't marry don't get tax breaks because they haven't put a ring on one another's finger?! <doh>

    I'm all for equality, but it wouldn't have been an issue at all if there wasn't incentivisation of such an old fashioned ideal.

    I'm more concerned about them trying to ban Confederate flag from the likes of Amazon and I-Tunes. US Southern rock is my favourite kind of music and loads have confederate connections being from the deep south. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackfoot, Govt. Mule, ZZ Top, Southern Rock Stars, Molly Hatchet etc, etc Total stupidity

    I would think the most Christian country in the world is the Vatican, not the US.

    That said, most people I know are pleased/indifferent. And at least now Americans can point out that the U.S. is more gay friendly than the UK because Northern Ireland.

    Frankly the bigger issue is that you can't buy a replica General Lee anymore. Way to ruin everyone's childhood social justice warriors.
