Pure gold I refuse to believe anyone thinks this is about increased marketing to raise the club's profile after the disregard they showed fans last year It's called - 'We're a bunch of cocky twats that didn't need your money last year but this year we do so please will you spend your money with us'
A 40% increase in prices kept the money coming in despite the less than ideal crowds. Now those crowds are dropping and the prices are already sky high they have no other option than to increase marketing and beg people to come back. They should have been marketing to ensure we sold out games in the PL, the fact they are forced to do it now so they don't lose out on too much cash is entirely their own fault.
