Ings misses a sitter. Stones bad pass set up an Italian.

Kane playing deeper than Ings. .. set him up for change.

Ings is having a bit of a mare. Centre backs for England have been ball watching to much.

It was always going to happen wasn't it. The minute they won late last game they were going to walk into a beating.

It's the same old stuff. There is no inspiration in English players.

Southgate doesn't help either. Exactly what's his qualification? Failed English manager hired by fa to keeping game.

The guy from real who just hired at derby, clement, is a real coach... not this guy

We have some great players, but some of the best didnt go. And I dont rate Southgate at all.
Dont know why Wisdom has been excluded since his sending off a couple of years back. Would have been good for the young Lions this tourney.

Well I said 3 games and it was 3 games.

Instead of giving our best young players a chance to play tournament football and in turn maybe how to win an international tournament, we kowtow to Prem clubs and the England senior team and leave the best at home. Also we pick a **** manager (but that's the FA all over).
Should do what Germany did and start building the senior team by using the U21's team, play them as a group and move them up together (ok not all at once).

Ilori taken off injured - hopefully just a precaution.

Berradi is a special player - smashing records at club level already.

Volland is another quality striker. Given his relationship with Can, and our recent dealings with Hoffenheim, hopefully we can poach him also.

When you look at the players who were missing it`s ****ing criminal, it`s like we don`t want to succeed at anything <grr>

England aren't good enough to succeed at international level no matter how much the want to.

The reasons are many and complex but the English press should stop building up the national teams because to many England fans believe the hype and it always ends in tears and disappointment.

i see southgate "wants to stay"

as in i'll never get another job of ****ing course i want to stay in this easy gig.

the fa spent how much and that place gerrard says is boring then they appoint southgate as a coach... you'd think the final mil on top top coaching training to develop a young kabal of english coaches sent out across european teams to learn and develop would make more sense than wasting time and money like this.

I think England has some excellent young players - the problem is a) they're not getting enough game time at a higher level and b) the coaching isn't good enough.

Southgate got the CM selection wrong, it was that area that cost them, both in terms of cover and creativity.

    Plus Butland is ****e.
