    Believe me Villas Boas will know all about Tiote. Indeed just about any club worth their salt will have run the rule over him after last year. Can you imagine those scout reports? Tackling - Awesome
    Tactial awareness - Awesome
    Shooting - Awesome,
    Passing -awesome
    Any aspect of the game bar gettinng too many yellow cards - awesome

    Hopefully we'll have him for at least one more year and his departure to the ACON, coupled with him enjoying himself here will work in our favour this year

    Nolan wanted 5 years, he has 3 good years left in him at best, he didnt get it and spat the dummy out. Gardner is younger so could manage 5 years. Gardner would have been brought in on relatively low wages and is a good player. It would give me a bit more comfort if he had joined knowing that teams are now sniffing round Tiote.

    This is the last time im going to say this tiote turned them down in january the club probably gave chelsea permission to talk to him but tiote said no and you can google that because tiote was quoted saying if he wanted to leave he would of joined chelsea in jan when they approached him. He will not leave and he would have to get offered a stupid amount to convince MA to sell him, we turned down a 30m bid for carrol and tiote is a better player.

    It's pretty clear that we've not recieved a decent offer for him - otherwise Mike would have him in his private helicopter and London-bound by now.
