    Not sure I really understand what you mean here. Ambition is a desire and determination to achieve success. If I've misunderstood that his ambition is to play in the Champions League and win things and instead his aim is just to earn loads of money then he should go to Liverpool.

    Letting him go for 15mil seems a bit cheap? Is it because he only has 1 year left on his contract?

    Yep. I would definitely be telling Liverpool that £15M was the basement level transfer fee and there was no room for manoeuvre. Normally I would suggest that £20M is a fair price. Liverpool have the money and we have the player. I can't see a problem. :)

    His ambition might be to earn as much as he can. And thus moving to a club that pays him more means he is succesful in his ambition. Wanted more money - got more money - Success = Ambition achieved.

    Some stockbrokers might have an ambition to be a sewer cleaner and thus giving up their highly paid job to be covered in poop being paid peanuts means they have succeeded in fulfilling their ambition.

    An ambition does not have to relate to a predetermined goal that everyone else would understand. Everybody in the world can have some ambitions that others don't really understand.

    I know I'm a bit stoopid but that Tweet seems to say to me 'my England team mate' and the way I read it is 'my England team mate' not my new team mate or my Liverpool team mate.

    I still think he'll go but I think that Tweet seems to have been misunderstood.
