    Still interested in illarimendi (sp) from
    madrid. Bought in to replace Alonso and not quite hit the heights but very talented and was highly rated at sociadad before he moved.

    £15m could be decent price although he strikes me as a deep lying play maker. Do we need that?

    I'd be happy with illarramendi - signing players from better clubs is also always a good move imo. Plus he looks like Alonso and is a deep lying playmaker, what's not to like? at 25, he's probably at the right time to really shine in that role

    Illarramendi is a classy player and I wouldn't say no, but again, he needs to be played ahead or alongside a DM. The same applies to all of our other midfielders.

    2 semi-finals and a title challenge in the last 2 seasons means we consistently compete but he'd need to contribute himself
