Some good pics, few faces I've not seen in a long time. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/pict...2002/pictures-26690316-detail/pictures.html#1
They have They've dumped them onto a website which is completely ****ing inaccessible on a iPad ! I'll have a look when I've got a laptop to hand
I must have told them 20 times or more about their **** website on mobiles, even Angus Young the mail reporter admits it's poor, they don't care because we are irrelevant
It obviously took the poster who had asked the HDM for pictures of "Kekkers" being thrown Oranges to instigate them look for these archived pictures.
They're well aware of the issue and want it changed, but they're part of a big group and all the local papers have to use the same template. It really is ****e.
They archived all their pictures digitally, they just didn't have any of Kekkers on the pitch surrounded by oranges.
I realised that, my point was that they came out with these pictures probably because they were asked whether they had any pictures of "Kekkers", which they didn't, but that requested instigated them coming up with these old pictures.
I know some slate facebook but for those on I've a photos group with over 1600 pictures from boothferry park era 'Boothferry Park Photos/Memories'
As were most of the shirts produced during those fanzine days. It all began with those 'Now the Tigers' Hull, Hell & Happiness shirts, then when From Hull To Eternity came along we had the 'Hull' t-shirts that were shamelessly ripped off from those of the band James - they were really good sellers. And the rest followed - Waggy; Carter The Unstoppable (in honour of Raich, my personal fave and a must for Carter USM fans); Going Down With The Tigers; Hull Coasters - Win Or Lose We Have A Booze, to name but a few. Looking back, the lad who came up with the designs could almost have gone full-time such was the demand. And to think, these sold well with City getting crowds of 3-4,000; oh to be involved with such an operation nowadays...especially given the club's commercial department's current, er, problems!
One reason I shamelessly nicked Hull, Hell & Happiness as my online altar ego, is having one of their t-shirts as a wee nipper. I was too young to fully appreciate the fanzines but I loved that t-shirt. Think it had a garland wearing, surfing tiger on it.
No but i do think i know him. Never knew he went to City though. My mate who was born 10 doors from me and went right through school in the same class as me is in 33. I'm trying to remember the name of Miss HDM. Think she got savaged by a dog real bad doing a promo.
I detested that wire mesh time it reminded me of Italian clubs at the time who were notorious for such things being more hooligan than City fans ever where.
