These videos are of Graham supposively getting himself ready for next season. They couldve been done while he was sat on the bench a few months ago, but if he really is starting this early, massive respect to him!!

Same, I have a feeling we will get one decent year out of him before he leaves next summer.

Doesn't everybody do all that stuff every morning before work?

    Good lad.

Dunno why they put chains on for bench press though, ****ing pointless, some people take the crossfit image too seriously, you're not a real man unless you can lift chains instead of adding another couple of plates to the bar.

Fair play to him for getting stuck in, now if he can get shed loads of scoring practice as well he might end up as one of the 1st names on the sheet

Danny training early like this, if it's true and up to date (not from a previous 'close season'), sounds good, but I can't help thinking that he could be doing it to get fit 'early' for another club :emoticon-0112-wonde

Call me a cynical 'steward if you like, but I do feel sceptical about this :emoticon-0108-speec

Haha Terry, on a rig with the ****in worst internet. Hit reply with quote, and it sent it without letting me write anything. 1 more day...1 more day and i can get home.

Was going to say, they put chains on it as it provides a dynamic lift. The higher you lift it the heavier it gets, and as you come down the weight of the chain is lost to the floor. Alot of people who squat aswell do it. Allows them to work through the lift and get another rep or so in, plus if its a home thing, chain is cheaper than plates.

Yeah, I understand the principle behind the chain, I just think it's a bit pretentious.

The Poliquin method is far more effective in my opinion, controlling a dead weight for optimum time under tension on the concentric, with an explosive eccentric.

It matters nowt to me mind, the guy's putting in off-season graft which is commendable so top marks to Danny Graham for that.

Commendable. But I'm waiting for the video of him hitting a cow's arse with a banjo..... Now that would be impressive!

Making an effort and being seen to make an effort to improve himself......unlike Connor Wickham, who looks like he is trying out for a reality show....."I'm a **** striker, get me out of here" perhaps....

It's being released as a box set with the one of him hitting a barn door and identifying both his arse and elbow
