I've kept out of this thread up until now but seeing as this appears to be actually happening i thought i would chip in. Personally i can see very few negatives to an ex player who helped 'fire us to the Premiership', scored some crackers for us in at both levels, works his socks off and comes on a free??? We're back in the Championship and will need grafters like him. If this does go through then welcome home Jamie
Goodness, if we can get Mackie and Faurlin playing like they did that season we will be a joy to watch! Let's hope/pray/wish Faurlin's knees defy logic.

A step backwards for me. Don't think he was good enough for a near the top of the Championship player when he left us, and his record since he left us, says he's not got better. Hope he proves that's wrong. Good luck Jamie.
Some players make more of their limited talent than many far more gifted. Jamie is one of them and I'd rather have one or two of his kind in the side than showboaters who biggest talent is filling their wallet for the minimum return...
Still a load of infected on here Mackie is great and wants to come No one has any idea what our team will look like nevermind at like but it already shaping up nicely Will never forget the header at City or the winner against Liverpool Runs offside a bit whatever team he plays in but the fact he plays high is good enough for me ... He troubles defenders and works hard Great day for the Rangers
Welcome home Jamie, as he said in the interview "......They know what they are gonna get from me.....I can't wait to put the shirt back on.... " Just wish every new signing shares the same passion.
