Buy a few cars, sell a few cars. Won't be long until you've ended up with a car for nothing. Repeat this process every 3 years and you'll always have a car for nothing <ok>

    He's not wrong though.

Go on and buy a certain profile car at a certain time of week on line then flip them for double the price at a Saturday morning when most are on.

If you put a high price on most will actually be attracted as low price equals worried

Not a bad little side line to be honest, you don't necessarily have to be a 'motor dealer' - just someone that can sense a bargain and has enough time to stick a few adds out here and there. I'm not talking buying a fiesta, getting a body kit on it and lump £300 on top <laugh>

There are far too many complete muppets willing to buy nice cars for such opportunities not to be exploited!!

IBWT - wanna buy an A6? :bandit:

There's 1000s of people doing it. All fly by night.

Go look at any car site and there's lads meeting in petrol forecourtforecourts move on lumps of ****e every week.

Get it for 250 sell for 500.

We a right tosser in extended family who gets them drives for 3 weeks and shifts them on.

The higher the number the more chance he gets a bite. I'm not talking out of line I'm talking just upper end of price for make and year etc

  15. My brother used to buy and sell cars so much that is insurer suggested he should change to a trade policy as it would be both cheaper and easier <laugh>

He'd had twenty-seven cars by the time he'd been driving four/five years <doh>

Trade insurance is well worth having, especially If you go to auctions etc. My insurance says i don't need an MOT to drive a car <laugh>

  17. I bet it doesn't say you don't need tax (which you need a MOT for) though <laugh>

I don't need tax or an mot mate. My insurance covers it, as long as I'm not just randomly driving around - I have to be driving a from a place of purchase or from a place to carry out mechanical work.

So basically I can be just driving around <laugh>

If the car hasn't got an MOT the only place you can legally drive it to is a testing station for a pre-booked appt. if you think otherwise you'd better hope you don't have an accident mate
