What do people think about Ron Vlaar? I'd probably take a punt on him no? I'd also consider Sylvein Distin. I know he is old, but for a season he would be class in the Championship. For his ages, he is deceptively quick.
Vlaar easily, but no chance as there's plenty of clubs in the Prem and across Europe willing to sign him.
Think Ross Wallace and Stephen Dobbie could do a job though. Stevie G and Fat Frank would probably do the biz with Drog in front of them
Would take a punt on Miyaichi from Arsenal, seem to recall he was on loan at Bolton in the season they were relegated and looked a decent player in our Hill-gate game. Still relatively young around 24 or 25. We're a;so bound to be in for all the Spurs released players except Friedal who's retired........
Just watching Ireland v Scotland, Walters playing ok, being a nuisance and has scored (Even though it was offside!)...is he still available, could be an experienced head up front for us, if wages not too demanding?
Micah Richards is a strange one for me. He always looked to have the potential to be a top class full back imo. It just never happened did it?
Would definitely take Guidetti & Walters who would be a handful in the Champ possible 1-2 others but depends on salary etc
Queens Park Rangers are leading the chase to sign Polish Player of the Year Kamil Wilczek, HITC Sport understands. Wilczek finished last season as top-scorer in Poland's top-flight, the Ekstraklasa, with Piast Gliwice after grabbing 20 goals for the mid-table outfit. His contract is due to expire next month and he has already decided to leave on a Bosman free transfer, and a host of clubs from around Europe are now keen on landing him. Sides from Italy, Spain and Germany have all made contact, but HITC Sport understands the player is keen on moving to the UK. Newly-promoted Premier League duo Bournemouth and Watford are keeping close tabs on the situation, along with Middlesbrough, Bolton and relegated Hull City - but it is QPR who are in pole position. SEE ALSO: Report: £4m would get QPR a replacement for Newcastle target QPR - who could still face sanctions over their breaking of Financial Fair Play rules the last time they were in the Football League - are pushing hard to get a deal done quickly. 27-year-old Wilczek, who has recently been called into the national squad, is believed to be ready to drop into the Championship, as long as it is to one of the promotion contenders. http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015...tm_source=twitter&utm_content=HITCdeadlineday
