    TOUCHÉ!
As you also bleat and criticise those whose line hasn't been crossed.

I'd prefer it if people renew their passes if the FA throws out Hull Tigers, as now seems likely. If there's any left I'll get mine after the 11th if we remain Hull City.

The debate has moved on from the name though. Most people I know who haven't renewed, can afford it but hate the Allams. They'll come back when they've gone. In the meantime they'll go to the away matches. There are hundreds, maybe thousands, that don't go to any away league matches, I don't see them as any different to supporters just watching away matches.

They may return to the KC soon if he does what he promised and sells Hull City within 24 hours of the FA saying no. If he doesn't we may have a war of attrition over the re-branding until they go.

I probably wouldn't be able to afford all away games but the way I see it is I'm only paying for a ticket via that away teams coffers NOT these morons pockets. And away games are where I get to chat with like minded fans about all this name change crap. From the very start ALL he had to do was ask us for our opinion & see what happened but NO, it was just a case of screw you jack I'm ok! As has been pointed out WE ARE IRRELEVENT!

    Really
When have I done that then?
Each to his or her own, I'll criticise ****erish behaviour, but not whether anyone has renewed or not

Now, you and I know that this "promise" to go is nothing of the sort. The club continues to be up for sale in the same way that all clubs are up for sale if someone comes along with an offer at the right price. This isn't going to happen based on an FA decision. This is only going to happen when the club get back in the Premier League as this is the only way he will re-coup his investment.

Yes, but Assem Allam knew that when he said it. Didn't stop him saying it though.

It's also if we get back into the Premier League not when. That will depend on who goes and who we are left with after the window shuts. They need enough money to get a striker (or two) and possible replacements for Livermore and Quinn.

I don't go back on my word at any cost. I said I'd walk away in 24 hours, so I had to put club up for sale.

When I say something, I mean it. I don’t call bluffs, what I say is what you get, exactly.

I'm a man of my word, I do what I say, I say what I do. There is nothing to me, other than what you see.

Have I ever said something and went back on it? No.

No, he won't, he has nothing to work out, neither does Smartarse. Their posts have nothing to do with their beliefs, but they do have everything to do with their need to post what they think are intelligent, mischievous nonsense that attracts endless responses from folk. It's all quite sad really.

Hull City chairman Assem Allam to rename club ‘The FA bums dogs FC’

Hull City Chairman Assem Allam has reacted to the FA’s decision to reject his name change by choosing a more appropriate moniker for his football plaything.

After the FA’s membership committee said it would reject a change of the club’s name to Hull Tigers, Allam said reiterated that it was his club and he could do what he liked.

Allam told reporters, “If I want a new badge that depicts members of the FA committee sodomising various canine animals, then who are they to stop me?”

“I am the owner of this football thing, and like anything else I own I can do whatever I like with it.”

“If they FA don’t like it, and the fans don’t like it, then they are entitled to go and bum a dog.”

“I’m even willing to buy back our stadium’s naming rights in order to have FA Bums Dogs visible painted on the roof and visible to any passing plane.”

“I’m not saying that members of the FA bum dogs, I’m just saying that where I come from, the image of men in grey suits bumming dogs is considered lucky – so I try to bring that luck to Hull.”

“Tigers don’t sound so bad right now, do they?”

You really should remove the Smart from your username before you get done under the Trades Description Act.
Our colours are based on our nickname? Do you think someone decidedthat our nickname was going to be The Tigers and then decided to play in black and Amber stripes? Or that perhaps we got the nickname because of the fact we played in black and Amber stripes.
Our first nickname was The Citizens. If we had kept that nickname what would our chairman's plan for making millions from the Far East have been then? Market us in communist countries because they are all citizens there?

Trau Morgus made one of the best posts I've seen on here in a long time. If it had been me, or probably anyone else, on the end of it, I would've slunk away and had a ****ing deep think about my stance. It's entirely possible that I might not have shown myself on here again for weeks or months.

    Instead, you post this ****e.

What a ****ing embarrassment you are to this proud old club and, actually, the sport of football.

nice to see him wear a tie with the proper Hull City logo on it - I assume he sweats a lot and is drying his armpits in the breeze

That reminds me I saw Mrs Allam in her car the other day in Anlaby.

She has a personalised number plate either 1 FA or FA 1 (can't remember which way round)

Thought it was quite funny under the circumstances....

How anyone can possibly blame the Allams for our relegation beggars belief. They can be blamed for many thing, but getting us relegated is certainly not one of them!!

Were the Allams party responsible for our promotion to the Premier League?

They are also partly responsible for our relegation from it.
