Probably would be easier not to reply to this to avoid provocation but here goes. (Neither of the precious post are being provoking argument, and hopefully you'll see mine the same) I respect your comment regarding not being proactive as you are clearly looking for an answer rather than a rea tion. I do see where Eamon is coming from. I'm happy go luck and really don't care who's what race or religion, but imo i would be nieve to think that a certain bond may not be more likely between people with a religious or cultural background, especially if it is deemed as a minority background or culture. JET said it him self in his QPR welcoming video, he felt a special bond with Les due to the St Lucia background (I know this is not the same as black or white but the similarities are there. Nothing wrong with it, glad it might help him settle in - or not? Depends on the individeal. I'm happy with the signing and can't wait to see him on the pitch. Hope CR shows what he can do with individuals as well as the team
I think there have been quite a few positive testimonials to Ramsey's coaching ability, regardless of his ethnicity. That, in itself, is a big positive and if players also feel a cultural bond as well all the better. The proof though will be on the pitch, I hope he succeeds...
He didn't cost us a penny in transfer fees. As far as freebies go, he's got youth on his side, brings a physical presence and has ability to score goals. Good bit of business, and worth a go.
Forget the "this" that was from a previous post but this boy can strike a ball! No doubt about ability, all down to man management now!
Thanks Fusari, more or less what was going through my mind. It was just a thought that maybe it would be a help ... or maybe not.
He is very comfortable with putting the ball away with both feet. I like this in a striker, I cringe when I see players trying to get the ball onto their right foot and most often missing their chance. Welcome to the R's, JET!
Id like to see if he could be coached into a midfield position. From what I've seen, he can strike from a distance and would be great at adding a few goals from another area of the park
Good as they're mostly thick ****s. He's not a guaranteed success but on a free signing he's potentially a good one. He played 14 games for Cardiff four years ago when he was 20/21. Hardly the best sample of matches to go on. Bristol fans are pretty mixed about it but everyone knows on his day what a player he is.
I agree with this. He won't be used in every single match as not all games will suit his style of play. But hopefully, if he is used in the right way we will see how effective he can be. It's evident from the goals he has scored he has talent, and it seems as if he's got a bit of point to prove.
