SQUIRE 9/1 Sandown 3:50 Only up 1lb from Newmarket run and stiff finish should suit perfectly. Working very well and should run another really solid race.
Will he be able to handle all these races in such a short time with his previous injury problems? Good luck once again tomorrow, 9/1 is a fair each way price as I can see him resolutely sticking to the task once again but might find one too good.
Best of luck with the forums favourite horse stickler.I had a little look at Copa America and I think Sergio Aguero looks decent value to be top scorer at 9s.He was carrying an injury during last summers world cup and didnt look the same player. He finished the season well and is in decent form coming into the tournament.Messi is 10/3 which is a little short to me but he will most certainly be looking out for old boy Sergio to finish off some precise passing we all know the little maestro is known for!
5.35 Clonmel EXXARO 5/4 Small price but a good price in my opinion. Looks certain to open his account for the in form de Bromhead yard. Good luck with SQUIRE boys
Don/Stick...what about the ground? Forecast good to firm. Wouldn't Squire like some give perhaps, or is he adaptable to either? Good luck regardless
Cheers fellas, he really isn't ground dependant we just wouldn't ever risk him if it was too firm. He hasn't had any reactions from his racing and is a horse who just seems to want get out there and do it. A nightmare on the gallops if he hasn't had a run for a few weeks. Clearly thriving for racing and making up for lost time!
I am very worried about the top horse Stick - Rembrandt Van Rijin won like a listed horse at Chester. I had put him up on here twice only for him to be pulled out. I decided not to at Chester as he was drawn out with the washing but the horse had probably the least helpful path throughout the race and then flew and made the others look like they had all stopped. Horse simply do not win from the race he had at Chester, this could be a serious horse. On the up side I am a big fan of Squire who unlike RVR looks very straight forward, has a big heart and if ridden appropriately and allowed to find top stride soon enough is certain of a place, should RVR run his race and Squire beat him then I think you have a horse that will take you into races you likely never imagined. I will be backing RVR but should Squire better him I will not be too unhappy I assure you.
Cheers Bluesky, that is a horse I really fear. Was on him big the day he threw it away on the AW. Seems to have his act together now but giving us plenty of weight!
I remember watching that race Stick and the jockey was an imbecile as he was clear and under no threat at all and suddenly decided to give the horse a real backhander for zero reason, the horse who was simply still in a canter was taken completely by surprise and jinked. I knew then we had one to follow. I backed him at Chester but only lightly because of the draw. I also feel the horse may not even run tomorrow as they are clearly taking good care of him and pulled him out twice on the day before running him last time. Aside from RVR I think it may be an easier race than last time and 9-1 for your lad is an insult, he should be 6's in my book, but this means he can be backed EW and still show a profit if placed. I hope Luke Morris will be told to go earlier than any other horse he has ridden as he wont hit full stride until a furlong has passed. I think your lad is a proper horse and I promise you he is the one I am most worried about regarding my bet on RVR.
RVR did win easily last time out but it was a very slow race and he came from the rear so not sure how he will fare if Squire gets first run from some way out. With that weight he might be struggling. I'd be more worried about an outsider Perfect Cracker. Good luck stick and don. Hope he does you proud. Hope it's on TV so I can cheer him on.
Newton Abbott 505-Absolutlyfantastic 9/1 NAP Aintree 540- Regal Diamond 7/2 610- Nabuccco 6/4 750- Kings Grey 9/2
Best of luck to Squire tomorrow looks a hot race. I'm all in tomorrow on Francisco at Goodwood 8.45. Hughes / Hannon are epic around Goodwood looks very winnable and at 6/4 it's short but worth a go me thinks. Good luck all.
Thanks chaps, hope he can see what he's got to beat then we will find out what he's got. Good to firm is fine for him. Any worse and would be worried tho
All the best Stick, the Don. Your chap never runs a bad race, bottom weight and uphill finish should suit. 9/1 with Bet365 will do for me.
Just been reading that Hydrogen, the world's most expensive yearling sold at auction has transferred from Chapple-Hyam's yard to the "powerhouse" stable of Olly Stevens. Shame that, if only Sheikh Fahad Al Thani had of put word out publicly...Ruth Carr had room for one more up there if he had wanted!
Good luck stick /don I think my money has to go on chain of events ew at 14s mainly for intrest in the forums finest squire. as mentioned earlier this is one strange track a bit like marmite you either love it or hate it . So heres my reasoning behind CHAIN OF EVENTS chains career record on turf- 36runs 7 wins 3 2nds 4 3rds chains career record at track 9 runs 4 wins 1 2nd 1 3rd I think that says quite a lot on its own but when you look into it further the only 3 times chain has lost here has been when the handicapper has pulled in the reign after back to backs at the track. Intrestingly before all wins or places here chain has been to newmarket. The booking of hayley turner is not a bad one and hayley does have experience onboard. 14/1looks way to generous in a tight race.
GL tomorrow stick/don with squire hope he comes back safe I also like muntadab 420 Sandown currently around 11/8 gl if you play
