Yup, definitely one worth keeping for the championship. If we let him go I will be a little surprised and disappointed.
I would of kept him to bring on a player just like him ... I really like him when he does just the simple things He doesn't get hurt and that goes a long way He read the game better than any other QPR player last year at a very high level
This is one of a few players I would like to see stay for a season in the Championship, if I'm honest.
My thoughts exactly. I still think he's under-rated on here. Unlike most who come to us he seems to have improved a lot in his time here. Think he was one of our better players in the PL, and with Barton apparently going, I think he would be a major asset in the Championship. Hope he stays one way or the other.
Would like to see some players stay for this season! Henry has shown quality before so we know he can do the job, championship will suit him well as one again he has shown before. Need to be careful if we continue releasing players we'll be turning up to games with no subs lol!
I would have thought that Henry was just the sort of player we would need in the Championship, I'd keep him for another season.
He is a player whose chief attribute is stopping other players from playing. The rest of his game is about him trying to find a pass to a player who is no more than 10 yards. Crikey when we waxing lyrical about a player with his limitations we are desperate. Get rid.
That's his job isn't it? Hence why often brought on to protect a lead / hold draw. It's a bit like saying all green does is make saves.....
Many years ago we used to try to win games by more than one goal, and didn't worry about 'holding on'. I miss that. (not a comment on Henry).
Im a bit confused.........most on here are presuming Sandro, Phillips, Fer are going to be Rangers players next year?!...............I will be very surprised if so.....
As I understand it if he wanted another year we were obliged to offer it to him so it seems like it was his decision not to invoke it.
