It's just been announced. http://www.premierleague.com/conten...emier-league-free-transfer-list-2014-2015.pdf
So Oxley has been released, I wonder why we didn't announce it, I know he barely played but he's been with us eight years. And Joe Cracknell is a surprise, I thought he was highly rated. We've only got two keepers now.
I'd guess Oxley will get an offer from Hibs, Cracknell hasn't really pushed on that well and two years at Scarbrough won't have done him much good. We might see Rory Watson as the third choice this year.
John Guidetti might be a decent addition after turning down Celtic, though Feyenoord and Trabzonspor are both supposed to be in for him, so there's probably not much chance.
Gary Taylor-Fletcher - who would be one of a very slim amount of players who would have waited 14 seasons in between Hull City appearences... In all seriousness... Myiachi from Arsenal is not a bad player at all, and neither is Ross Wallace - but I bet we go for Shola Ameobi. Think Paul Gallagher might go to Preston but he's a decent larker too!
You and Tickler seem to have this undying confidence in our youth system. You're always touting someone to break through next season even though they never do. We just don't bother with youngsters as a club, and Bruce certainly doesn't.
There aren't many i'd want on that list to be honest. Mulumbu would be a good signing but he can do better than the Championship. Tremmel is a decent keeper and i quite like Chris Baird but apart from that there aren't any i'd want (realistically anyway).
I think you will see a few more younger faces next season around the squad, the trick is to get a healthy balance, unfortunately this year we had a lot of experienced mercenaries and not enough whippersnappers like Robertson
Time for a change then. Mark Exley sadly will never be good enough for the championship or the PL. Nice that the club have let him go to find his level. Brian Lenihan, Max Clark, Dixon and Townsend look the best bets to change things,.
