Do you a favour you silly sausage, Rio, Hoddle and Redknapp were all at QPR last season. Why get all aggressive over a humorous throwaway comment?
How on earth can my post be construed as aggressive? It was to highlight the fact that recently there haven´t been any QPR people at the club, ones that give a **** that is. You need to put the Suduko down nines and think about your next brew!.
I'm in exactly the same situation. BT got millions to sign up for the Broadband service on the basis that BT Sports came as part of the package but then the first chance they get they start adding fees. And of course there's zero chance of Sky Sports reducing their fees to reflect their much reduced football coverage next season. Am I the only one who remembers when we got a shed load of live TV on BBC/ITV for free? Who says competition is good for the consumer?
This program springs to mind... please log in to view this image BBC New Broadcasting House, Portland Place, London W1A 1AA
Best free open source media centre around is Kodi . http://kodi.tv/about/ watch live tv/sports and movies in hd , i have been useing it for about 5mths and its very cool indeed.takes alittle time to set up but its well worth it .By adding add-ons to the software, you build a media centre to how you want it. just google Kodi for setup details and how to add live tv/ sports channels ect . have fun
There's a new one called TVMC, done by TV addons as they fell out with Kodi developers. It's very similar to Kodi, but has everything pre-installed, and runs a lot faster - I've deleted Kodi/XBMC from my boxes and it's much better and nowhere near the size (in memory terms) so I also have it on my phone!
No..but you don't need to. BBC iPlayer, ITV and C4 stuff is installed, plus Showbox and TVMC give you access to an extensive library of tv boxsets similar to Netflix and Sky, as soon as they are broadcast in US or UK. Some programmes I'm a whole series ahead of the UK broadcast!
I don't know why everyone is bleating about these charges being levied, all businesses do this in relation to their subscriber numbers. BT gave the Sport free to hook the audience, they've invested billions outbidding Sky for various sport packages and now they've got them they're asking for a subscription for these additional packages what's wrong with that? Millions shelled out over £20 to watch the bore that was Mayweather v Pacman, top sport has a price and the Champion's League is no different. I have the Sky package on Virgin, it's crept up in price year on year but is still good value in terms of what I can see but I wouldn't have BT as well as I'm not that into the Champion's League and prefer to watch many of the other sports available, there's Eurosport available as well...
No, I'm chained to the couch in my gimp suit and force fed tv dinners by my boss In fairness, I only watch TV late at night (I have trouble sleeping and it helps me unwind and drop off)
