    Anyone know for sure if the first round is regionalised as well as seeded?

    It's more a North-Midlands-and-bits-of-the-Home-Counties/South split often.

    Oh really? Well forget my original prediction of Cambridge.

    I think it'll be Hartlepool. Though I hope it's Scunny, last time we were there it was my birthday and we won 5-1. Aaron McLean scored twice, that's how good it was.

    As its north / south regionalised we will get any northern team from Fleetwood Town down.

    We will also be a seeded team if we make round 2 when the 12 PL teams not in Europe competition join in.

    Only from round 3 does the draw become a free draw.

    The remaining 8 PL teams join in at that point.

    Are you sure Fleetwood is the most northerly team we could get?

    What about Morecambe or Carlisle?

    NB Middlesbrough are seeded like us so we can't get them.

    If you look at the final league. tables,, the northern teams from Fleetwood down are who we could meet.

    Accrington away appeals to me for no other reason than another ground off the list.
