I don't watch it FHB. I just object to the BBC using my licence fee to ram this politically correct ****e fest down my throat on every outlet. See the BBC Football website for more detail.
There's only one match on today, at 11:50 pm, not exactly ramming it down your throat. The only thing I'll watch today is "Vicious" on ITV. It's about an elderly gay couple. I don't know about politically correct, I find it bloody funny.
Why you should disagree with the showing of Women's Football so vehemently is beyond me Royston. I don't like the BBC wasting my TV licence fee on such programmes as Eastenders, The One Show, The Graham Norton show etc. but I just don't watch them. There are millions of people who do watch them, so they are not wasting license payers money. I am sure there are lots of people who like watching Women's Football, each to their own. I still don't see why Women can't enjoy the same sports as men, and why those sports can't be shown on TV. The BBC are not being PC they are just showing Football that some people want to see.
Aren't we playing today? Albeit, if that is the case I won't be watching... Only because something better is on:
I tell myself every day I need to start game of thrones. I never do it. Only another 4 weeks of gardening leave
Because its all part of an agenda IMO which says that women's ****e kick about is as good as the men's game. People who do enjoy watching it should get their heads tested, or alternatively watch a kitten chase a ball of string on You Tube.
And if you haven't got Sky ignore Twitter on Monday nights! And if you have got mysogynistic views avoid Game of Thrones in general.
According to the commie bastards at the Beeb there is expected to be a worldwide audience of over a billion.
Had to think about this one- do you mean rugby players? I had a drink years ago with a team of Dutch female rugby players who were over here on holiday. Not only were they quite attractive (some of them), but they were a great laugh as well.
I was thinking exactly the same thing at lunch today when I went onto BBC Sport to check football news. I personally have no interest in women's football either and there was far too much of it on the Football homepage earlier. I do, however, appreciate that some people are keen on it, so they could at least separate it out away from the mens game like they used too. As I said to a few guys in the office at lunch - I would rather pay £20 to go and watch a non-league mens game, than a fiver to watch a womens premier league game. I can't say that they all shared my view though but thats just my opinion. As a sport - it does nothing for me.
Well if any of you just watched Game of Thrones OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG!
Women's football is a joke, women's tennis I can watch but as someone has already mentioned the fact that they get equal prize money for playing best of 3 sets instead of 5 doesn't make any sense to me. I won't be watching any of the World Cup, I fail to believe a billion people will
Why is it a joke? Do you mean it is not very good? How much Women's Football have you watched to reach your well balanced conclusion? Does Women playing Sport threaten one of the last bastions of masculinity? Is that the real reason why you don't like it? Do you feel emasculated by Women playing the same Sport as men? Why do you fail to believe the viewing figures. Is it because it doesn't fit in with your agenda?
Dick -you are a thoroughly good chap, but seeing you defend wimmins football with such gusto is a bit like watching Sid James trying to mate with Germaine Greer. #KateUpton
