"Well, the lights on the Itchen Bridge near St. Mary's are blue, so it's only fair", was among the comments under the article. That made me smile Doesn't worry me particularly, Channon, as long as it brings more money into this fine city. Anyway, the views from the Spinnaker Tower are fantastic. Tell me, what are the views like from the top of your iconic landmark ?..............
What? You mean the Northam stand? Quality footy is always on view. Actually, I like the Spinnaker and feel that it's a shame that we don't have an iconic white elepha....er, landmark too. It is funny though. What would SB3 think? I hope they paint it in stripes. Or how about a nice sash?
Just another example of the Council selling out, personally I am disgusted Could have been worse though they could have done a Cardiff and sponsored our team and changed our colours to those of the Emirates
Well we had red and black, but I don't see a red and white one anytime soon. We'd never stoop that low.... please log in to view this image
Looks like we may have gotten Donna Kebab to see sense. https://www.change.org/p/donna-jone...w&utm_source=petition_update&utm_medium=email
Yes, I can confirm that after discussions with the sponsors, the red and white design will be dropped, in favour of a more sympathetic "white and red" design.
A red, white and blue design would be o.k. to my mind, as it would represent the colours of the Union Jack, bearing in mind Portsmouth City is the home of the illustrious Royal Navy, as well as of course PFC. ................as compared to Southampton which is the home of..................er...................must be something or someone important....................er...................Benny Hill ?!
Noooo! First Attendances, then cups and now you have started a heritage fisticuffs! I shall remain above all this
To be fair to Southampton, it is a major cruise port so it has that going for it, and that's about it. Only good thing about Southampton is that it's easy to leave it! And I suppose Ikea is... useful.
St Marys Flat Pack Stadium is more like MFI built, than Ikea, Lapras, and we all know what happened with MFI, don't we ?
