Discussion in 'Liverpool' started by luvgonzo, Jun 8, 2015.

  1. So we've confirmed Milner and Ings already. As any other transfers (at other clubs) been confirmed yet...?

First team football. They wouldn't get that at a big club.
Midtable signings for a midtable team.

The last player we signed from a relegated club was Aspas
Incidentally he also scored 12 goals.

    Coincidence?

Not sure what I think of the signing. We've never signed big names so nothing new there and at 22, he's the right age to bring what he has and develop it further.

sensible. lets have an actual look at him in a red shirt in a real game and see what he does.

coughs.. kevin keegan.. scunthorpe utd cough... 100+ games 18 goals... LFC 200+ games 68 goals legend.

we just can't tell til we give him a platform to try and perform on.

and no i'm not saying he's any good here.

    yes.

the only relating factors in this is LFC the rest is utterly unrelated to each other.

just judge him on what you see in august.

ings prob doesn't really need to rush himself either.

that indeed is a slight advantage for both players as some would call it unambitious on their part.

Don't want to sound like a hater, but not really what you guys need, another average signing by your manager, and you'd also think with the strikers that have already flopped at your club, that Rodgers would go look and sign for an out and out world class striker, but he signs someone from Burnley? It's like he's trying to get the sack.

it is a fair point.. 75% of this is just telling negative noras to get the twist out of their knickers.

as flappy says... lets wait and see.

after all arsenal signed the woeful wellbeck and the sublime sanchez.

if ings socres the winner in a 6th round cup tie at old trafford then it might be worth it.
