So the city one is tell us something we don't know and I think everyone knows it will be a low offer around 3mil. Zlatan one is utter tosh. The usual agent crap one would surmise
Meh. Didn't stop them with Suarez did it? If the right guy is available from their point of view they may as well get it done. Half of Spain seem to be players on loan or with options to be bought by real or barca anyway so I think clubs and players should be more used to lads playing now with one eye on their move to the big two. I'd say it won't be a origi type scenario where they just don't bother their arse then boast their new club will win league. I'd say he will just get on with it
I think Ibrahimovic could be a transfer committee signing - sell shirts - create publicity. I've forgotten what his style of play is. Would he suit Liverpool?
Ings has signed for us subject to a medical. Dark days of our club are truly here, with Rodgers completing his useless strike force.
jeez chin up fella... where have you been for the last 7 years? the dark days have come and gone... YNWA. we are trying to rebuild here.
Ings hasn't even kicked a ball and you are already being negative. The reality is we will need a striker to play in the Europa/League cup matches and filling in when Studge is injured. I see a position where we will have 4 strikers i.e. Sturridge,Origi,Ings and a new signing(I expect a marquee striker). That for me will be sufficient. We can only afford another 150K a week striker supplemented by Ings and Origi. I also expect Balo,Borini and Lambert to be gone.
please log in to view this image anyone think this guy looks a bit like michael owen... is he a sick note and all? At least he's got tats.
as long as his goal scoring tally is the same as owens was couldn't care less to be honest. what we really need is another fowler or rush type though, never happen sadly, legends gone for ever
good post... just as long as the fan base doesn't go nuts if said marquee signing never happens. I see a lot of the assumption that said signing must be coming. We've got to part with 3/4 players to make it happen I agree though... we a) need 4 forwards, if you want to fight at the top you have to have them b) cannot carry 4 top guys, origi is potential, how much none of us really know, sinclair is not ready. ings represents another option for us who has actually got a few in the prem. c) we need to shed balotelli, lambert, aspas and borinin now... FFS the dark days? did anyone miss these were our forwards and some for past 3 years
I'm optimistic that no credit will be given for any europa goals seeing 29mil lukaku got none on here.
Reds agree deal to sign Danny Ings 8th Jun 2015 - Latest News please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Author: Chris Shaw @shawct Liverpool FC are delighted to announce that they have agreed personal terms with Danny Ings and, subject to a medical, the striker will join the club on July 1 after his contract with Burnley has expired. The 22-year-old struck 11 goals in 35 Barclays Premier League appearances last season, which was his first in the top flight. Ings had found the target 21 times in the previous campaign to help the Clarets secure promotion from the Championship. The forward has nine caps for England U21s, with four goals to date too, and will represent his country at the U21 European Championship later this month. Ings faced the Reds twice in 2014-15, featuring for 90 minutes at Anfield in March.
so another free signing. Ings is not starting XI material, I hope rodgers is still intent on signing a top striker
