Worth mentioning that Hurricane Fly is running at Auteuil at 14:08 UK time in a Grade 1 hurdle over 3m1f. Currently Evs favourite. Quite a few Irish and British raiders going over, looks a top class card <ok>

Zarkander for me. No sort of price for HF. Can't be backing a horse that short

He has a lot to find with the Fly has never beaten him, yes this time it is over longer but for me Zarkandar is not a group one winning horse !

Must watch that race in France, in which I hope me old Zarkandar runs well. On noticing that the going is very soft, have to go along with the Irish runner Val De Ferbet over this distance and ground.

In the 15:30 at Goodwood, will have usual small bet this time on Angelito in this tough-looking sprint. Hasn't won since September, 2012, but most times seems to run well without winning. Has a chance here with a good draw.

Did anyone see Paddy Power wrapping up his shop in bubble wrap ahead of the England v Ireland friendly? Any publicity I suppose but if I was English I'd be tempted to go smash the shop up just for the hell of it the cheeky cant. Apologies as I've no link through the phone but if you Google it, the images should appear.

The company have great marketing guys in fairness! They even had a dog tied to the lamp post outside in bubble wrap vest! Will this game go off without violence ??? I hope so. All the media attention here is focused on the scene's that disgraced us in the 90's and they are expecting more today. I hope it will be all out on the pitch but Internationals these days are a damp squib usually.

Backed Antiope Du Seuil 2.10 Perth. Took 6/4. Think it's got a great chance.

Turteene looks an astounding bet at 10/3 in the 2:45 in Auteuil. Gave weight and a beating to Analifet the last day here and I expect her to follow up that victory today.
