BBC pundit and former Queens Park Rangers midfielder Trevor Sinclair has confirmed on Twitter that he has spoken to Les Ferdinand about 'future possibilities' at Loftus Road.
Sinclair enjoyed a long-lasting career in midfield at a number of different clubs, including QPR, West Ham United and Manchester City, and now appears keen to enter the coaching world.
    ">
He admitted on Twitter that he has offered his services to Blackpool, who rejected him, and was asked thereafter by a follower whether he has considered QPR.
In response, Sinclair, who currently works for BBC Sport, said he has spoken to QPR's head of football operations Les Ferdinand.

Sinclair may not be on any immediate agenda for QPR, of course, with plenty of other ins and outs for both Ferdinand and owner Tony Fernandes to consider ahead of next season.
It won't be the first time the R's have had to prepare for a Championship campaign after relegation from the Premier League in recent years and the Loftus Road outfit have already released the likes of Joey Barton, Bobby Zamora and more amid a time of great change in west London.

Aren't they all "unproven" until they "prove" themselves? Gotta start somewhere....at least he has history at the club, and we need fresh ideas instead of going down the "tried and tested" route which has proved disastrous over the past four seasons

True, but we have an unproven manager, and Sir Les in a role he has no previous experience in!Surely bringing in someone who is experienced in their role, whatever it is,is what is required at this moment in time!

Agree with you. Steve McLaren would be a nice addition but not realistic.

This, before he left to go to Derby our defence was awesome. After he left we didn't look the same side defensively,we need to get rid of Bond asap and bring in a decent defensive coach, with experience in that specific field!

As much as I agree with you RE McLaren, we have a manager, on a 3 year deal, so it's unlikely we'll get somone of that calibre as CR will be constantly watching his back!

Maybe. But as Hammersmith J says, perhaps he does need someone to watch our back. Can't get away from the stats that show it was our defensive performance that sent us down.

wasn't he asked the other day if he'd like to join west ham and responded that he would? Sounds like he'd just be happy to get a job anywhere he can.

He cares about QPR so if there is a role for him the sounds good to me.

He speaks very well as a pundit so I wouldn't mind him in some ambassadorial role. We could then champion him while he gets his badges as a win-win.

He doesn't have the experience to be in the first team set up but I seem to recall Ramsey has done some coaching of coaches and so there's potential to shape him into a coach that has the new club philosophy (whatever it is) as a basis.

Of course, Lancaster might be world beaters and I could be spouting rubbish but I think he'd be good to have involved in some way.

    He seems desperate.
