if he wants to go then there's no point in making him stay as you wont get 100% out of a wantaway player so make a profit on him seems the way to go, but if it goes to arbitration and they find in his favour then where does that leave contracts. dangerous precedent if they do find for him
Iff Taylor wanted to stay surely he would have made a public statement to that effect by now ?. knowing all the speculation from the fans is mostly negative he should man up, or is he just keeping his and the toon are keeping thier options open as long as possible. Dont we have to give his former club a cut iff we sell him ? I hope we have got a clear and iron clad contract with rogers he would be a hundred times greater loss to us than the boy taylor !
There is obviously some uncertainty in the wording of the contract if he feels it needs to go to arbitration. The only good thing that will come from arbitration is that the position will be clarified once and for all. In all honesty we have to look at who the hell is dealing with the actual contracts, not the negotiation side, but the wordings of them. First of all a degree of uncertainty about Priskin given the fact he got injured and whether bonuses were due and now whether this clause is a release clause or a "you can only talk to him then we will set a price" clause. Really need to look at where we are getting our legal advice from!!!
i am sure noone knows what is exactly in his contract, newcastle seem to believe one thing and the Swans another - put him on the market at 3 mill - see what happens, however even for a mill, its still 900K profit i believe after the compo paid the wrexham?
10% to Wrexham, me thinks!! Just want the club to get this sorted now, with the end result being Taylor away!! This is one silly, silly boy!!! He could have single handedly bolloxed our whole promotion chance, but for the heroic performance of his team mates at Forest. He alone, should have remembered that. He owe's them, the club & the fans one, and also a big thank-you, for giving him support & the benefit of the doubt (sending off)!!! How he could have the audacity to do this, after his 'team-mates' made sure he became a Premier league footballer, is beyond me. Go Taylor & make sure you don't come back.....
Sums it up really, I hope never see this person in a swans shirt again if he is doing this, the guy has the same financial ethics Cardiff fans say of Routledge , which is to say greed
IMO it looks like Taylor is being used by his agent to test the scope of the clause that has implications for other clubs and players. See Evening Post today http://www.thisissouthwales.co.uk/N...ylor-appeals/story-12935164-detail/story.html. Not a definitive report by any means but now the pieces are starting to fall into place and what's going on starts to make vsense.
As I've said before, if it is just Moralee, then take the guy to the cleaners. If Taylor really has nothing to do with this, then fine, but he'd better come out and tell us that, otherwise silence would be interpreted as a "want away" attitude.
HJ interview on Sky - http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12876_7034812,00.html - suggests that the arbitration might not take place and that things will be concluded in the club's best interest in the coming week. A very diplomatic set of comments on specific questions - but I take from it that he's at the end of the rope on this. It would be interesting if Newcastle and Swansea, seeing that each others interests are better served with respect to other contracts that arbitration doesn't take place, work out some sort of deal and pre-empt the arbitration. Also the players are now back in training, conversations are taking place between them, details hidden to us are being shared, hopefully some fatherly advice is being offered Taylor's way.
Haha. I know, but it's true. We should build a statue of Huw, he's done more for this club than more but a select handful of individuals, and in years to come his contribution will be more evident for all to see. What do you think of that Dai?
Or maybe it was his agent all along just trying to turn fans against him so the club is pressured to sell.... ooooooo conspiracies! Ha!
Speaking of agents , Owen Hargraves agent is in talks with Leicester about joining them . We really could get a great deal for this guy if we tried a bit , think he would fit in nicely .
the sell on clause to wrexham is 15% so that is a fair sum that by the looks of it they could do with, as far as the outcome with tailor then i really dont want him at the club anymore, we can do without players like that so if the ruling goes our way then i hope huw puts him on the transfer list and see what other clubs offer for him.......taxi for tailor....
What's your avatar (picture) Dai (superswan99)? Looks like someone stood in front of the Taj Mahal. Is it a random picture or is their some relevance?
