    The whole matchday thread thing works pretty well I think. Agree with Astro that it should be up there in good time,dunno about

    I liked the detailed thought considered threads that Chris used to do. A little preview of form, with a little bit of added opinion through red specs. That's my personal preference, I know people used to get annoyed buy too much pics (mainly phone users), but I prefer the personal touches as opposed to...

    My personal view is I don't actually read the Op of most match threads as it's just info and not much to comment on.

    The best OP match threads always have a piss take element of the opponents as well as some interesting factual information, that isn't the usual copied and pasted stuff from sources like the beeb.

    Match day threads should always be up two days before the game, not before, not after. Any time before it's #toosoon and any time after it's #toolate. This gives enough time for a nice build up <ok>
