Not a bad jumps card at Punchestown for June and there's one I'm sweet on in the 17 runner maiden hurdle. Easy race Punchestown 7.30 SANDYMOUNT DUKE 9/4 Won a C&D bumper and made his hurdles debut a few weeks ago behind a VERY highly regarded Rich Ricci horse finishing a 1/2l second though highly flattered by that narrow margin (winner won on the bit). That race was over an inadequate 2m and tomorrow's race is an extra half mile longer which will be of huge benefit. Tomorrow's jolly was bought by JP McManus after an impressive bumper win but I think Jessica Harringtons only runner at the track should be capable of winning this.
Slingsby 6/4 Wolves 2:30 should follow up a recent win at Redcar here even with the 6lb penalty. He slammed Bondi Beach Babe by 5 lengths that day and she since has been turned out and won also. I'd be shocked if Slingsby doesn't take this.
Savello in the first at Punchestown. This 2014 festival winner has been competing in higher grade races most of the season, has good ground and a decent claimer taking off a handy 5lb. Bet365 offering 16s is worth an each way poke. Good luck all
I have a big fancy tomorrow for a horse and will be risking more than I usually do on this selection. Chelmsford 7.20 Nidnod 3-1 This selection has been quietly fancied both starts this season when first losing her action on her debut when travelling well and then running very well in a Windsor maiden won by what looks a very smart sort. This horse could be not only a class above these but two or three classes above these, could be a win on the bridle job.
SOLAR MAGIC 9/2 can take Nottinghams listed heat this afternoon. Being a Pivotal, this one should relish softer conditions and there is stamina on the dam side to suggest that 10f can bring about further improvement.
I wouldn't be surprised if fantasy justifier does the business today the conditions may well be in favour. Homage looks on a handy mark and in the right grade.
Hello fellas, seemed as if the Godolphin horse wasn't as ready to go as they first thought but he might of been beaten by a decent horse in Hakka, time will tell!!! As for today just the one for me but a fairly strong one: 200 Wolverhanpton Mia Tesorro 3/1 Great draw in stall one and ran well in his first race in which Blossomtime already coming out and franking the form. he didn't enjoy the best of passages in that race so I can see this one being backed on course and wining well (note: Osborne improve dramatically for their first run). GOOD LUCK
Cheers Boily .. and now worries about yesterday .. its called gambling .. not winning .. so sometimes the best info does fall short .. keep firing them in mate and all will be well ...
It may have lost but wow, what a turn off foot it should to make up for the 5 lengths it lost at the start!!! If that horse broke well and then used that for the finish that would have been game over, one for the notebook as that will win next time out!!!
Forum on fire already even from such a few posts. Savethehumans scores a tap in with his Slingsby, 6-4 advised, whilst You See follows up with a nicely headed winner into the top corner with Fantasy Justifier at Nottingham at 5-1, whilst Boils doesn't run a bad race after blowing the start, his selection needs to learn to play to the whistle. Not sure where I am going with these Football terms but hoping someone can post up a thirty yard screamer to keep us all happy. I think I have been reading the football (blatter) pages too much today.
Wolverhampton 5.30 Blue Amazon 9-2 Not too many runners so I am hoping the very able Osian Murphy can overcome the bad draw to send this unexposed horse home in front.
One for the notebooks boys- Chantecler. Finished runner up today but was claimed by Robert Stephens after the race and we know how good he is at turning them into fairly useful hurdlers
Well done to all winners today and last couple of days. I see in the 9.10 at Ripon Micky Hammond has 3 in this race which he has won twice in the last 3 years and had last years winner going again after only finishing 3rd 2days ago. However the one I think will win is POLITBUREAU who I put up the last time. He has gone up in weight and grade but I think he wins again. Could also see Hammond filling the 3 places.
Did that as I thought he might and he was due to in fairness. If only all analysis was as straight forward. Went off 8/15!
Terrific shout with Savello Chaninbar just got in to see him hosing in there. We'll done also uncle. Any word on Real Steel? Took a very heavy fall.
Did ya give the Beaten Favourite system a go after Boil? Seem to remember you mention it recently I think.
7.30 Punchestown De Name Escapes Me 10/3 looked like a horse well worth following when winning a bumper on debut for Liz Lawlor and has since joined Noel Meade having been purchased by J P McManus. Drift is a bit disconcerting but I think this 5 year old could be a very useful animal and this looks a very winnable contest.
