There does appear to be a handicapping anomaly here. I went and looked at the race result to see if either of them had carried a penalty or overweight but there are no weight differences from the original race card. I wonder why the handicapper thought that being touched off for second on the line merited an extra pound for Mythical Madness. Both he and Squire are four year olds so it nothing to do with weight for age. Maybe somebody should watch the race video in slow motion and see whether some incident occurred that went unnoticed by us mere mortals that the handicapper has taken into account. Or have some of the owners shoved a brown envelope under the door at Shaftesbury Avenue...
I did see Stick in the area dressed like Freddy Mercury so guessing his work did the trick. Anything for a 1lb.....
Get Squire running up that hill at Hamilton Racecourse and I will take Stick into Glasgow and he can get 3 pair of sports socks for a 1lb!!
