theres a lot of hoo-haa about the corruption in FiFa , the palm pressing (containing swiss francs) etc etc - but when the English FA spend £23 Million in their bid . . . yep BID , to host the event , you have to ask serious question about the so called "good guys" and the "transparency " in the process of hosting a WC .

Those handbags the FA pressed into the palms of the wives of the delegates to me means exactly the same as a multi million dollar shady deal to a caribbean islands development project .

the world cup should be about the very best of the best and not some hippy soccer festival that encompassess nations that cant even agree on the shape of the bloody ball !

Y'all can start writing your letters of appreciation to the USA. (quick someone edit this so its FIFA instead of terrorists)

On another note how ****ed up is it that the only effective part of our government is the DOJ and FBI?

<laugh> Before the video loaded I knew exactly what was going to appear.

On a side note, how did that film not piss off North Korea and the much tamer 'The Interview' did?

With what the feds must have on certain people at Fifa this was always going to happen. Trouble is he remains in office until the next vote.

Welcome news but a long to go yet.

    Thank you FBI.

The FBI is not that place. Lol.

Plea bargains and whistle blowing should now be the order of the day.

That letter looks to have the trick. The whole corrupt organization will hopefully fall like Rome. But who re.builds it is another matter.

I think Gary Lineker should replace Blatter. Squeaky clean...never booked or sent off.
    Vote for Gary

Even if Platini took over, he's a dodgy **** too. It'd be like replacing Assem with Ehab.

Agree it really needs a completely new organisation. There's plenty of good people with expertise in football. There's no need for these weirdoes like Blatter and Valcke.

Sad to see the usual ****s dragging our owners into this even though it's ****ing stupid.

Other than those ****s, this is brilliant news. I just hope they get everyone involved and lock the ****ers up. I'd also like to see an investigation into 2018 sand if that's dodgy too it needs moving.
