This is such nonsense. Just because one club spends the tenth biggest sum on players, does not mean that their team ought to finish 10th. If only it was that simple. All a billionaire needs to do is to buy a club and invest whatever 4th biggest sum (£50m-80m) and he's got a CL playing club. This comparison of money spent v/s rank is hilarious. I think the general "consensus" is that we are the 5th most expensive side. I mean look at our side, Lallana is the most expensive siging in the squad I think, and that's less than half what your biggest signing cost. Arsenal shelled out 70m for just Sanchez and ozil I think? That covers a chunk of our squad, Lallana Balo and Lovren Lambo and one other cheapo
