Finally back from the only country on the planet with no internet a week after your dry humping at Stoke I see.......
I will take the moral high ground here and advise people to stop rising to your bait, but they never learn and I just keep laughing at them as it is desperate
So are you guys going to update your predictions or have you been proven wrong too many times to dare?
I predict Rodgers won't get top four again and that he will be looking for a new job first out of all the current premier league managers
I would say it's unlikely, purely because when a top side sack a manager, they need to have quality candidates available. The end of the season might have been a good time for it, with the likes of Klopp mooching around (depending on your viewpoint of Klopp, of course), but Rodgers survived what was a very disappointing campaign which undid much of the good work of the previous year. Unless they get Dalglish back as an interim, or pick from the tier of merry-go-round-managers everyone knows will fail (for some reason, premier league clubs love to do this) like a Villas Boas, I think Rodgers will survive an underwhelming start at least, whereas teams like Sunderland sack their previous season's saviour every year, Leicester seem like the typical "too big for their boots" type that would sack Pearson out of delusion, and my own lot will be rounding on ginger face in a spate of season-card destroying, bed-sheet wearing frenzies in no time at all. As much as I think Brendon is under pressure, I seriously doubt he'll be anywhere near first out the door.
But he came second in 2013/2014, with some luck he is going to make it next season. My problem is, who are we going to displace ??.
Suarez was the reason you came second, as soon as he went you slid back to mediocrity under Rodgers, despite having spent a Kings ransom on replacements.
Rodgers has shown he doesn't have the ability to retain top players. Suarez, Gerrard and now Sterling all wanting out. His replacements for players he didn't bring in have been terrible apart from That little Brazilian fella and Sturridge(when he can keep him fit) £220m to spend and I'm not sure he would make his money back on any of his signings apart from the two I mentioned above
"My biggest mentor is myself because I've had to study, so that's been my biggest influence." FFS he really needs to shut the **** up!
I'm sure many more will be added in vet the coming season. He knows how to dig himself a hole. We could go for vet many of his Sterling quotes
He'll be fine, he's turned a corner and we'll be top of the league by Christmas and the soundbites will be fantastic.
Some are predicting a poor start will see him gone by Xmas. I hope not, with the cash he has to waste this summer again he will fill the squad with more expensive dross
It's that time of year mate. 1 more signing and we're ready to go, the league will tremble in fear and stare in awe at the mighty Liverpool as we romp home to the treble.
