Got wes back onside, got tettey to sign a new contract and started at a blistering pace. Managed the crisis better than Fulham and Cardiff. We should be grateful that his enthusiasm got us going in the right direction, it just wasn't enough for a whole season.

He was a player who gave his all at a time where not everyone did that. We were relegated with a small group of those players doing their upmost for the cause - he was one of them. Personally, I agree that he was not great but we should remember him as someone who at least did his best for the shirt.

I agree mostly. I did not slang him of for ability, just his limitations. Plus CH using him as the ONLY outlet did not help.

Whilst I respect that snodgrass did play his heart out and on his day could be excellent (Swansea away in his first season was the stand out for me.) he was a frustratingly predictable player.

Always cutting on to his left (oops) foot made the life of a full back far easier.

This probably wouldn't have mattered if we had several outlets at the time but we became intently predictable around our most predictable player.

It was a team problem and in a sense my frustration with him wasn't that he was bad, more that he was good enough we needed him.

Without him were a far more balanced team and harder to defend against.

I wouldn't have him back, especially with his knees. Been rumours around for a while that his career may be over.

I think you may want to edit post 24 Bath. I never ever saw him cutting onto his RIGHT foot.

I think that was a good article. I wonder if he will end up back with the youth, if he is successful with them, then maybe that is where he can help us. I believe that it was his passion for the club which meant that he resigned when he did rather than let us completely loose touch with the leading pack.

I have the same feeling ZK and in this cynical world that is what I would like to believe as well. I would be pleased to have him back in the fold in some role or other but Manager's job was a little over the top for him.

I'll be pleased to see him return, McNally confirmed in his post Wembley interviews that he was still to be offered a job. He clearly feels the same way we do about this club and it nice to know the people that work there have a genuine passion.

Whether he should come back is a different question, if his aspiration is to a good youth coach then great he should be here. If he wants to manage again he needs to build him self up. Get some first team coaching time then a lower league managerial position. He could stall his career here, or get to do exactly what he wants at a club he loves.
