Who should we look at signing for an assault at getting straight back up? Whoever does the 'Scouting' for our strikers is ****ing useless at their job. If we lose 3, we need a minimum of 3 to sign. Who would you like to see come to City?
We have to be realistic about these things. If we couldn't afford Rhodes in the premiership then we can't afford him now. And even if Blackburn were willing to sell, there would be other premier league clubs who could match his wage demands. We need to be looking at someone like Glen Murray who is likely to be surplus to requirements at crystal palace but is still capable of scoring a hatful of goals in the championship
I wouldn't blame the scouting, to be honest the strikers we have arn't that bad they've just lacked decent service from midfield.
I think glen Murray and Freddie Sears from Ipswich could be a good prospect, not sure Ipswich will sell to a rival, but looked quality last season
Chris Martin at Derby always seems to score at this level, Gestede who we were linked with. Andre Gray at Brentford?
As great as Glenn Murray would be - Pardew seems to like him, and played him a lot last year. I'd look at: Hugo Rodallega (on a free transfer, 10 goals and 7 assists last year) Dwight Gayle (Talk he could be allowed to leave Palace) & Then an upcoming Championship striker, one of: Igor Vetokele Andre Gray Nouha Dicko Harry Bunn
Who's at Peterborough? Apart from Mclean they seem to unearth striker after striker. In fact we should nick their Chief Scout.
