A big well done once again to Scally and Hess. We seem to have the building blocks in place for a potentially good season. And in plenty of time to hit the ground running. Still plenty of Friendlies to get the players to gell. Hopefully a good injury free preseason will be the catalyst for a good campaign. UTG

What a great team Hess and Mr Scally have put together. It concerns me where he got all this money from to sign these players. Weren't we skint just a month or so ago? Where has lenny38 got too? He has been missing for a couple of weeks now....
great news, atleast its a proven goalscorer and not a hopeful player with league experience that i thought we might have to settle for. if both him and kedwell are half as prolific as they have been in non league along with whelpdale and weston banging in a few from midfield we should be set. just one more piece in the jigsaw and thats a goalkeeper to keep flitney on his toes and then money permitting a bonus pacy winger. well chuffed roll on 6th august
Full credit to Hessenthaler and Scally, they've persevered and got the majority of their targets, great to see. We were promised 'eye-brow raisers' and my eye brows are currently sitting higher than Carlo Ancelotti's.

HATS OFF TO SCALLY & HESSY another keeper to challenge flitney...either dean brill, matt duke or shane higgs? and a left wing player(anthony mcnamee) of norwich city would be ideal! new team, new kit, new sponsor, alongside a new season...just hope all the fans back the team now! Dover fans and their chairman can do one. They're all quick to forget that without Hess, Dover would be lurking around at the bottom of the footballing pyramid and it was him that brought Birchall to Dover so actually Parmenter owes Hess big time. As for the signing, I thought we were going to miss out because we were linked with him last summer and nothing seemed to happen and it was widely rumoured that a League 1 club were interested. Absolutely over the moon that we have a second goal scorer now. If he, Kedwell, Whelpdale and Lee all perform there is no reason why we can't win the League this season. I say we have a better squad than Crawley despite their finances.
