...a QPR fan but it sure helps. Last week I was despondent and despairing as to our future. Suddenly a couple of signings later and I can't wait for the summer to unfold and for the season to kick-off. I would be happy winning more games than we lose and being in the top half next season especially if I feel we are regaining our indentity as a club.
That's just it. Not just the two new signings but the way we have gone about doing the business. Nice and early and with no spin and hype, under the radar. It's been very encouraging to say the least, looks like a plan is finally in place at last.
Same here. That was the first bit of good news that started me off being happy about things again. With the other news it just got better. Oh well, we will all come crashing back down to earth after our annual first game of the season 4 nil loss... It's the QPR way
Madness isn't it......4 days after the end of the season and already looking forward to the beginning of August...... ....or are we just easily pleased?
I think it's a psychological coping mechanism that most seasoned R's have built in. After many years of mostley downs we tend to always look for a positive no matter what happens. So yes indeed we are all mad but I would not swap this for anything! U RRRRsss!
So far: Rid of six expensive players and four loans most of whom didn't contribute much. In with two 22 year old players who are worth taking a chance on. Season ticket prices have been priced lower than I expected. If we can get rid of Tarore, Taarabt and possibly Hoilett and get a few more young players in quickly and I will be very happy.
Yes indeed! A couple of strong, fast strikers, two good hungry wing defenders and one good attacking midfielder all before August and I'll be well happy with eager anticipation
Just think what could have been done with the youth teams with the money we flushed down the toilet on him every week.
