The one announcing he's staying? I would imagine it will be a footnote in the Liverpool Echo so as not to arouse the locals <whistle>

Come on lads, surely you don't want a manager who can't even win a game when he's 3-0 up at half time!!!

AC milan is a good shout though... but really berlesconi needs to decide what he is doing. Anchelotti might fnacy it but equally if he fails it tarnishes his rep so he might not... who knows.

He's 55 which isn't old but he's done the PL, won stuff and was treated like ****, done La Liga, won stuff and was treated like ****...he'll go home where he's respected and can quietly enjoy Chelsea and Real's money.

    He's a cup manager though!

sounds fair... some lfc fans (not me) can hope fsg have lined him up and are holding onto rodgers just waiting for him and will be singing a couple of anchelotti players this summer.

Some need a fantasy to last over summer

“I can assure you that I have not lacked opportunities, from Italy, England and Germany," Ancelotti, 55, told Il Giornale. "And I will not lack [offers] between now and next year.

"But I said it in the press conference and I repeat: I will stop for a year, also because I have a very serious reason for stopping.

"I have to have an operation because of my cervical stenosis. For some time, it has been affecting my hands and if I lose any more time, it could pass into legs, so I have an appointment for surgery.

"And, frankly, I do not know how long I have to be physically stopped, in terms of the post-operative phase and the subsequent rehabilitation.”

Once news of his sacking was confirmed Ancelotti took to Twitter to thank everyone associated with the club.

"I'd like to keep in mind this two fantastic years at Real Madrid. Thanks to the club, the supporters and my players," he said.

    Sounds pretty definite to me
