I thought that they would get rid of Brenda this Summer and appoint Gerrard as Manager with an old hand as his number 2 (Souness, Thompson, etc)
I do hope they keep that useless idiot for another few years. He is just clueless. Nearly got the title more by luck than design but it is looking as if the RS will be condemned to decades of mediocrity as they persist with motor mouth Brenda. #mediocrityreestablished
They've all seen the light and turned against Rodgers. All of them except the fat lad who has to stick by him really as he's devoted 9 months to updating his chart(s) in honour of Brenda's magnificence.
The highlight of the season has been the Turd's documenting of LVG and United's progress throughout the season and how much better it's been better than last. Also united's performance against the RS 's. Really backfired on him. Egg on his face. All his predictions turned out to be crap. He kept waiting for us to collapse and he predicted that difficult period against spurs and the mighty RS which in fact was united's best period. He has been a reverse jinx for us
None of them were ever taken in by Brenda's BS... http://www.not606.com/threads/the-man-brendan-rodgers.257080/
Skylarker is the most optimistic out of all of them. He spanked himself stupid over every one of their summer signings and conversely slated every single one of United's signings.
Yeah, I did wonder if he was half joking!! As NOF says though, Sky tends to be a glass half full type of fella Moreno and Mnquillo for instance, soon to be world class and on another level to Luke Shaw. And so it has been proved he?
At the start of the season, the dippers were banging on how all these "bargain" players bought by Brenda were going to turn into world class players within a week. Seriously, one was deemed to be already a class act after 20 minutes of playing against Preston. Wow, Impressive!! The truth is Brenda did the equivalent of replacing a race tuned Porsche 911 with 5 or 6 mini metros, and then expected to challenge for prem. And Brenda was actually being serious that life after the sewer rat would be wonderful under his masterful plan . Dear me, makes that old saying of "kissing the blarney stone" being taken to a new level. But the real amusement came at the end of the season. Firstly the YSB's were waxing lyrical about how the cup final was going to be Stevie me's birthday present. But those nasty little villains from the Birmingham area refused to roll over and grant the dippers an easy passage to Wembley. Prior to that Stevies "gone in 60 seconds" appearance in his last game against United ends in a home defeat Then Stevies last game at Juanfield, ends in a 3-1 loss to the kings of Europe Crystal Palace. And finally, on the last day of the season, they visit that premiership fortress the Britannia stadium tat results in a public spanking 6-1. I have no idea who writes Brenda's scripts, but the send of for the mighty Stevie coudn't have been bettered! Well done Brenda, a cracking season, and good luck with next year
No, you're right. Losing three on the bounce was perfectly acceptable. We should all just shut up and realise it's part of the master plan. Shame you didn't shut the **** up last season, eh?
