And things you will like/dislike about Championship. Well it's the last day in the Premiership for us (which could be for some time) so what will you miss/not miss and the same in the Championship. Premiership Miss All those plastic Chelsea fans sneaking in and out of Loftus Rd and not knowing ex players. . I will also miss Jose saying that our fans are better than theirs, (all time classic). All the stuff talking about us on TV/Radio/Papers. Championship looking forward to Winning some games. Going on a good drink up Bristol City (hopefully Swindon). Get to play Fulham/Brentford again. Singing BZ to Derby fans. Championship not looking forward to Losing some good players that i like and should be at QPR. Plastic clubs like MK and Reading Too many games.
Won't miss prem kick off times & date changes, ok might be some in championship but not 4pm on Sunday & 8pm on Monday. As you said Ellers winning some games & looking forward to our new squad.
Won't miss all the hype around the "top" clubs, excessive ticket prices, crap referees and hardly any Saturday 15:00 kick offs. Looking forward to the Championship.
As an armchair fan, I'll miss the availability of games. I won't miss us being a perpetual laughing stock. In the last 4 years, there have been moments of joy but no sense of pride in our club. I'll happily take the time in the Championship if we can restore some of that. Plus I get a "home" game in Ipswich.
Swords, you need to book a session with this guy:- please log in to view this image I'll miss the TV coverage, but Bet365 will likely show a few matches, especially if we're up near the top. I'll enjoy seeing us, hopefully, win a few matches though.
Nothing whatsoever to miss in the Prem......best league in the world my arris! all to look forward to in the championship!
I won't miss our pathetic performances week-in, week-out... I won't miss that awful foreboding every time I check our latest score... I won't miss TF's pathetic tweets assuring us he's confident we'll stay up when we've just shipped a hatful... And finally, I'm not looking forward to a season of Swords moaning he can't watch us from his armchair... Then again that might be several seasons...
I'm going to enjoy the ride that next season in the Championship will give us, same as I enjoyed the ride that this season in the Prem has given us. It's all part of being a loyal, life-long QPR fan.
As I said on another thread - I've felt far more depressed as a QPR fan than I do now. We've had far worse times than now.
What a nasty piece of work Fellaini is. RED CARD Hull 0-0 Man Utd - HULL GOING DOWN - Marouane Fellaini (77 mins) I mentioned losing heads a moment ago and that is a shocker from Marouane Fellaini! He goes in for a tackle, Paul McShane clears it and Fellaini stamps on him. Nasty, nasty foul and a deserved red card. McShane is bleeding and needs attention. A stamp to the nether regions. Paul McShane is bleeding from his thigh and his forehead at the same time. that's how poor that challenge was. Will this give Hull the advantage they need? They will have a man over for the final 15 minutes or so - but they need West Ham to score! Former Wales striker John Hartson BBC Radio 5 live at KC Stadium "There is no need for that at all. It is late from Marouane Fellaini. His studs are showing and it's a red card. Paul McShane is still down, and he is a tough lad. He was caught on the inner thigh."
Newcastle 2-0 up (Gutiérrez 85′) - Hull, as expected, joining us, but at least they put up a fight today, as did Burnley. Well I guess we can rebuild from rock bottom. Les & Tony look like two tired grumpy old guys!
Spot on is this! Lets all look forward instead of dwelling on the past and yet more post mortems. Cannot wait for the Champs season to start...should be fun!
I will miss being able to see any games will not be getting up at 2am in the hope of a dodgy non existant stream
As a QPR fan who has had well over 45 years of pain and suffering i have learnt one thing about being a lifelong Hoop, It's ok to look in the rearview mirror occasionally and remember the past, but i prefer to keep my eyes on the road ahead and look forward to the next twist and turn in the road and see what is around the next corner, It's called anticipation which in my humble opinion is better than depression caused by looking backwards at what could have been. "THE PAST WE ALL KNOW, THE FUTURE IS MORE EXCITING AND UNKNOWN"
