Ye, that was what I saw as I went past, few young lads sticking ALLAM OUT flyers under his windscreen wipers that set off the cars alarm.
The Allams have no interest in football. Healy stated that he wouldn't get involved with City because he didn't fancy having to put up with the abuse that comes with it. A shame he didn't want to help his local club as years ago the money he could have put in would have had a major impact. They have no interest in football but one half of the family are Leeds fans. Yeah, that actually makes sense.
Something pretty awful must have been going off around here then. What was that about cuts meaning it is difficult for the police to have enough on patrol? please log in to view this image
How cack was that Wrexham game? I recall talking to big Sam in best stand when we played Blackpool in same trophy mid 90's I think there were less than a thousand there and we frigging lost
Erm, it was vs Chester that we had out lowest ever attendance for a competitive game and over 600 fans were there. Can I trust that you were there with me?
An Allam Out card was put on his windscreen after the Burnley game, the stewards went to stop anyone doing it again, it's a complete non-story. Like all the rest of Sunbeam's posts, it wasn't worth posting.
Feel free to show me where I said that game against Wrexham was our lowest gate for a competitive match But to answer your question, I was also there for the Chester match. In those days, when we were proper ****e as you know, I didn't miss a single game. Now I won't set foot in inside the KC until Allam has left and the name change has been dropped.
So what 'Wrexham game in the Auto Windscreen Shield with 500 fans' are you referring to? And why would you pick out this particular game - which is one I cant remember I must say - to gauge whether a fan is 'real' or not? Edit - I just found it. I take it you just chose to reference 500 of the 2,331 attendance that night? http://www.11v11.com/matches/hull-city-v-wrexham-05-january-1999-292587/ Double edit - seems Chester was 553 in attendance. I was wrong, was sure it surpassed 600. I feel even better for being there then.
Thank you. As I said, that game did happen. I just got the Chester and Wrexham attendances arse about face.
Well no, the Wrexham game with just 500 fans didnt happen*. Just admit it that you meant vs Chester. There is no way you'd use a game vs Wrexham with over 2000 in attendance to gauge whether someone was a 'real fan'. *Of course 500 fans were in attendance vs Wrexham in that tournament, just there were another 1800 on top of that.
I'm not quite sure what point you're trying to make here? I said we played Wrexham in the auto windscreen shield. You didn't believe that game happened. You now concede that it did. You have informed me that the rough attendance I guessed for that match, taken from memory after 16 years, was incorrect. I now concede that it was and I was thinking of the Chester game attendance in the same tournament.
I find it hard to agree with any part of this. Every aspect of our club has let the support down during the course of the season. Throw-away words, such as these, Ellewoods, don't address the truth that Bruce speaks of; what he could add is that they also let themselves down, badly. Not a great season to look back upon.
